    I've been selling this kind of product forever, and have run many welding and railings shops. Notes: Tack the broken bolt head on from underneath---just for aesthetics. Drill all your weeping and bolt holes prior to assembly. Never cap the bottom of the imbedded post. Galvanize all your products for longevity (may be too expensive for small projects). Rusting is almost immediate. But use a good quality metal primer prior to painting. Invest in high speed drill bits-----forget the cheap China crap. Next time----put the post on the concrete sidewalk (4 epoxy set bolts or wedge anchors)-----and cantilever the extra foot from that (like a letter"P") But----tip of the hat for effort and ingenuity.

    That blue heatsink most likely came from a Dell Optiplex circa 1997-1999 and used to cool a Pentium MMX or perhaps a socket 370 Celeron.

    • @RinoaL
      @RinoaL 4 дня назад

      No I tore it apart around that time. This was from a late 80s intel machine that we found in my grandfathers attic. I cant even recall what this was on, if it was even the cpu

    • @MrKillswitch88

    • @RinoaL

      The cnc cut pad on the bottom is a little small for a pentium, and plus I recall it being on different hardware. The base has a cnc cut section for contact that is highly rectangular. No later than early 90s for this, and this was something bespoke for a highly custom machine. I also have to disagree with the Dell Optiplex idea given that I collect those and have never seen one with a heatsink anything like this one. My Pentium Pro one doesn't have one like it either.

    Those are some neat materials. I guess when you print it vertically, you get air between the layers that acts as an insulator and minimal contact with the previous layer giving reduced thermal conductivity. Printing on it's side would mean each layer was in contact with the heat source and radiating outwards, with the inter layer gaps more like the gaps between the fins on a standard metal heatsink.

    Dont be a fool like others e.g. only looking after themselves, kicking the weak and running after idiots like Hitler or Putin. It's really a shame, it should be ensured that everyone has a safe roof over their head and can live there as long as they want without fleeing from rent or other nonsense. People have such limited, crippled brains, well, everyone does, and they fill it with all sorts of unnecessary crap, like money, power struggles, advertising, gangsters, drugs, etc. The list is endless. As a child I always wanted to build big blocks of houses for all the homeless, but it hasn't worked out so far. But that would be the right thing to do, either build so much housing until the rent is free, or expropriate. But that will never happen with money mafia parties like the Drumb. You could effectively combat anti-constitutional structures by abolishing wealth, automatically covering basic needs and completely digitizing the remaining money. Maybe then the resources that should actually last 100 times longer will last longer. Or the corporate responsibility that should theoretically prevent exploitation, bleeding of the general public and leaving destruction behind (but you can't draw conclusions about others from yourself). If the broad masses of people developed a well-considered strategy, the following could be implemented: Unconditional basic income: ensuring basic services for all. Wealth line: limiting wealth inequality. Negative interest rates: promoting investment and economic activity. (questionable) World language: facilitating global communication. Open borders: promoting freedom and mobility. Full digitalization: maximizing efficiency and access to resources.
